Ursynów

The district of Ursynów is made up areas such as Wyciółki, Ursynów Północny, Stary Slużew, Stary Imielin, Grabów, Ursynmany visitors of the area is the nature reserve Las Kabacki and Park Powsin, an area which is green and popular with cyclists.ów Centrum, Jeziorki Północne, Pyry, Las Kabacki, the nature reserve „Las Kabacki”, Jeziorki Południowe, Dąbrówki, Skarpa Powsińska and Natolin. Its population is 145 000 inhabitants and the land area amounts to 44,6 km2.

Ursynów has benefited from the Warsaw Metro which opened on 7th April 1995 and provides quick and easy access for commuters from the north of Warsaw as well as the city center. Metro stations in the Ursynów area include Kabaty, Natolin, Imielin, Stokłosy and Ursynów.

There are 60 pre-schools, 23 primary schools , 17 secondary schools, 18 high schools, and 2 vocational schools in the area. There is also a campus of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences SGGW.

The area provides all forms of entertainment with many restaurants and intimate cafe’s, a Multikino cinema on AL. KEN, a seasonal ice rink that is adjacent to it and a sports hall.

A big attraction for many visitors of the area is the nature reserve Las Kabacki and Park Powsin, an area which is green and popular with cyclists.
